Nursery (and converted home office) Project

Project Complete

Creating the wall-art was a lot of fun...the stuffed animals were 49 cents each and the shadow box frames were $6 each. The outcome, ...priceless! (I love Ikea). I hand drew animal shapes on the back-side of beautiful sheets of paper from Paper Source and cut them out. Not as easy as it sounds (especially when the animals are bigger than ME). Sara had a great last-minute-idea, hot glue the finger puppets to the hand-painted branches in the corners. We also stuck a couple of Tucan birds on the back of the "hip-hop-hippopotamus"...too cute.

Before and After

It was important to maintain an office area somewhere in the flat, so I converted the closet into a comfortable office space. The old office desk has been replaced with a changing table/drawer set.

Concepts and Ideas

Ikea has great prices for essential pieces. I think we can get a lot of the storage items here!
